Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cutting and Slicing Machine Setter, Operator, and Tender to join our manufacturing team. You will be responsible for operating and maintaining slitting machinery to cut materials into specified sizes. Attention to detail and strong technical skills are essential for this role.

Responsibilities

• Adjust machine settings for optimal performance and minimal waste.
• Conduct routine checks on equipment to ensure reliability.
• Assist in training new machine operators.
• Implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
• Participate in quality assurance initiatives and audits.
• Maintain inventory of materials required for the operation.
• Respond quickly to equipment malfunctions to minimise downtime.
• Document production rate and machine performance metrics.

Requirements

Education

• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment is desirable.

Experience
