Job Description

As a Fruit Canner, you will be responsible for processing and preserving fruits in various containers. You will operate canning machinery, monitor production processes, and ensure that the final products meet the highest quality standards. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and effective communication within the team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare fruits for processing.
• Ensure machinery is operational and safely set up for production.
• Conduct quality checks throughout the canning process.
• Assist in packaging and labeling according to guidelines.
• Keep work area organised and adhere to health and safety regulations.
• Support the team with stock management and warehouse tasks.
• Collaborate with quality assurance to rectify any production discrepancies.
• Participate in team meetings and training as required.
• Handle miscellaneous production duties as directed.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or food processing environment is advantageous but not essential.

Languages
