Job Description

We are seeking a Public Health Advisor to join our team in Cardiff. In this role, you will promote public health initiatives, provide expert guidance on health policies, and support community engagement activities aimed at improving health outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and oversee health education campaigns in the community.
  • Assess community needs related to health services and programs.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to improve service delivery.
  • Draft policy recommendations based on health assessment findings.
  • Foster partnerships with local agencies to enhance health initiatives.
  • Coordinate training sessions for public health staff and volunteers.
  • Monitor and evaluate the impact of health programs over time.
  • Advocate for health-related initiatives within the community.
  • Utilize data analysis tools to interpret health trends and identify areas for improvement.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences or related field
  • Master's degree in Public Health is preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in public health programme management
