Job Description

As a Distribution Operations Manager in Bangor, you will oversee our distribution processes, ensuring seamless operations from warehousing to delivery. The role requires strong leadership skills and a passion for optimizing logistics to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

Responsibilities

• Direct logistics operations to ensure smooth flow from suppliers to customers.
• Evaluate and enhance distribution strategies to maximize efficiency.
• Lead the team in achieving monthly and quarterly distribution targets.
• Utilise software tools for route optimization and tracking.
• Build relationships with key suppliers and logistics service providers.
• Ensure the highest levels of customer service are maintained.
• Develop budgets and optimize resource allocation.
• Implement sustainability practices in distribution operations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Operations Management or relevant field
• Master's degree in Business Administration is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience managing distribution or logistics operations

• Inventory Management
• Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)

• APICS CPIM Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
