Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Wood Experimental Mechanic to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating, maintaining, and repairing various wood-based experimental equipment and machinery. Your expertise will contribute to the development and improvement of wood-based products and technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Lead experimental projects focusing on innovative wood applications.
  • Support sustainability initiatives through wood material research.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of experiments and findings.
  • Assist in budgeting for equipment and materials needed for projects.
  • Review and analyse statistical data to inform project outcomes.
  • Participate in team strategy sessions for product development.
  • Act as a liaison between departments for resource allocation and teamwork.

Requirements

Education
  • Diploma in Wood Technology or related field
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field is an advantage.
Experience
  • At least 2-4 years of hands-on experience in machinery operation or experimentation in wood technology.
