We are currently seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our dynamic team in Birmingham. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical systems within various industrial settings. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities, providing timely maintenance and repairs to minimize downtime.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate machinery performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Manage relationships with external contractors for specialized repairs.
• Assist in budget planning for maintenance activities.
• Conduct training sessions for staff on safety and maintenance practices.

Requirements

Education

• HNC/HND in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering is preferred

Experience

• At least 3-5 years of experience in maintenance within an engineering environment.
