We are seeking a skilled Diesel Electrician to join our dynamic team in Birmingham. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in maintaining and repairing diesel engines and electrical systems. This role involves diagnosing faults, conducting repairs, and ensuring the efficient operation of diesel-powered equipment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out diagnostics on diesel engines and electrical systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance to optimise system performance.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance services.
• Respond promptly to equipment failure and safety concerns.
• Assist in training junior team members on best practices.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area at all times.

Requirements

Education

• Recognised diesel mechanic certification or equivalent qualification.

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in diesel engine repair and electrical systems maintenance.
