Grab Setter

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Grab Setter to operate a grab crane for the efficient movement and lifting of heavy materials in our production facilities. This role requires a thorough understanding of crane operation, safety regulations, and teamwork to ensure seamless operations.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate machines to attach hooks and loops to fasteners with precision.
• Inspect and ensure product quality and accuracy during operation.
• Perform routine maintenance on the grab crane and related equipment.
• Meet daily production quotas while adhering to safety regulations.
• Monitor inventory levels of materials and report shortages to management.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve operational issues.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment to enhance safety.

Requirements

Education

• Health and Safety certification

Experience

• 2+ years experience in crane operation, with a focus on grab cranes preferred.

Technical Skills

• Rigging and Slinging Techniques
• Physical Strength

Soft Skills

• Attention to Detail

Certifications

• Crane Operator Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in a manufacturing environment: Prior experience in a fast-paced production setting is preferable.
