Join our team as a Wind Turbine Service Technician, where you'll be responsible for installing and maintaining small-scale wind energy systems. Engage with clients to assess their energy needs and ensure the efficient functioning of wind turbines.

Job Responsibilities
  • Evaluate environmental factors affecting turbine performance.
  • Advise clients on best practices for maintaining wind systems.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team on installation designs and plans.
  • Prepare detailed reports on installation success and any issues encountered.
  • Ensure that all safety protocols are followed.
  • Assist in customer support and address any post-installation queries.
  • Utilize CAD software for site assessments and planning.
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss ongoing projects and improvements.
Job Requirements
  • Completion of a relevant apprenticeship or vocational training in renewable energy, electrical engineering, or mechanical engineering.
  • Mechanical Aptitude Strong mechanical skills for turbine installation and maintenance.
  • Electrical Systems Knowledge Familiarity with electrical systems associated with wind turbines.
  • CAD Software Basic knowledge of CAD software for site assessments.
  • Problem-solving Excellent at troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
  • Communication Strong skills in communicating effectively with clients and team members.
  • Wind Turbine Installer Certification
  • Health and Safety Certification
  • English (Fluent)
Advantageous
  • Knowledge of local wind patterns: Understanding of geographic climate conditions that affect turbine placement.
