Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Sports Physiotherapist to join our team in Wrexham. The successful candidate will have a passion for sports and fitness, providing rehabilitation services to athletes of all levels. You will work closely with clients to develop personalized treatment plans, ensuring effective recovery and performance enhancement.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed evaluations of sports injuries and assess physical function.
• Prescribe and demonstrate exercises aimed at recovery and performance enhancement.
• Collaborate closely with sports teams to monitor athletes' health.
• Provide first aid and sports injury management during events.
• Implement strategies for health promotion and injury prevention.
• Advise clients on equipment and techniques for safe exercise.
• Engage in community outreach to promote sports health initiatives.
• Foster strong relationships with clients to achieve optimal recovery outcomes.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy or related field
• Specialization in Sports Physiotherapy is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in an athletic training environment

• Manual Therapy

• First Aid and CPR Certification
