As a Statistical Assistant, you will play a vital role in our research efforts by assisting in the design and implementation of studies, collecting and analysing data, and contributing to research publications. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and possess a strong background in statistical analysis.

Job Responsibilities
  • Assist in developing and refining research methods.
  • Collect and process data using statistical tools.
  • Summarise and present research findings to team members.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on data analysis.
  • Ensure detailed record-keeping of all research activities.
  • Engage in discussions about improving research efficiency.
  • Prepare materials for submission to funding bodies.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of statistical methodologies.
  • Support senior researchers in executing project plans.
  • Foster a collaborative environment among research team.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Sociology, Biology or related field
  • Master's degree is preferred
  • SPSS Familiarity with SPSS for statistical analysis.
  • R Experience using R for data analysis.
  • SAS Proficient in SAS for statistical modelling.
  • Attention to detail Exceptional attention to detail in data management.
  • Effective communication Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Teamwork Ability to work effectively within a research team.
Advantageous
  • Experience in grant writing: Familiarity with writing and submitting research grants.
  • Knowledge of ethical guidelines: Understanding of research ethics and compliance standards.
