Job Description
As a Water Operator, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and operating water treatment facilities. Your expertise will help ensure that water quality meets all regulatory standards and that the distribution system operates efficiently.
Responsibilities
Supervise the daily operations of the treatment plant.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Train new employees on operational procedures and safety practices.
Assist with budgeting and cost control measures related to water operations.
Promote energy efficiency and water conservation initiatives.
Requirements
Education
High school diploma or equivalent
Relevant certification in water management
Experience
Experience in operating automated control systems is advantageous.
