Job Description

As a Water Operator, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and operating water treatment facilities. Your expertise will help ensure that water quality meets all regulatory standards and that the distribution system operates efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise the daily operations of the treatment plant.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Train new employees on operational procedures and safety practices.
  • Assist with budgeting and cost control measures related to water operations.
  • Promote energy efficiency and water conservation initiatives.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Relevant certification in water management
Experience
  • Experience in operating automated control systems is advantageous.
