Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Power Plant Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining power plant equipment, ensuring the safe and efficient generation of electricity.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Perform diagnostics and repairs on boiler and auxiliary equipment.
• Prepare reports on plant operations and maintenance activities.
• Assist in the development and implementation of maintenance schedules.
• Conduct safety drills and training for junior staff members.
• Implement improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
• Coordinate with suppliers for the procurement of spare parts.
• Ensure cleanliness and proper housekeeping around the facilities.
• Assist in audits and inspections by regulatory bodies.
• Assist in managing waste materials according to environmental regulations.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical certifications or vocational training in Boiler Operations

Experience

• Experience with various types of power generation technologies.
