Job Description

We are seeking a knowledgeable and skilled Environmental Scientist to join our Brighton team. The successful candidate will engage in diverse projects aimed at mitigating environmental impacts, enhancing sustainability, and conducting field research to inform policy and corporate decisions.

Responsibilities

• Assess ecological conditions and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Prepare technical reports, presentations, and proposals.
• Monitor environmental compliance throughout project lifecycles.
• Work on restoration and rehabilitation projects.
• Conduct public outreach and education on environmental issues.
• Utilise Geographic Information Systems (GIS) for data mapping.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of environmental interventions.
• Manage project documentation and reporting.
• Participate in collaborative research initiatives.
• Facilitate training sessions on environmental practices for staff.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field
• Master's degree is preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in environmental consulting or related field
