Pharmacist

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacist to join our dedicated team in Manchester. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring safe and effective medication use, providing consultations to patients, and managing pharmaceutical services.

Responsibilities

• Review patient records and assess prescription needs.
• Advise patients on medication, including side effects and interactions.
• Engage with patients to answer questions and provide education on health topics.
• Work with healthcare teams to develop and implement pharmacy protocols.
• Document patient consultations and maintain accurate medical records.
• Conduct medication therapy evaluations and adjust therapies as appropriate.
• Manage pharmacy operations in absence of the Pharmacy Manager.
• Assist in developing and implementing quality improvement initiatives.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and assist with their training.
• Facilitate collaboration with community resources to support patient care.

Advantageous

• Experience with clinical pharmacy practice: Practice in directing clinical activities and enhancing patient care.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR): Proficient in using EHR systems for managing patient information.
