Job Description

The Pilot Supervisor will oversee a dedicated team of pilots, ensuring compliance with aviation regulations and managing schedules and shifts to maintain operational efficiency. The role involves training, mentoring, and supporting pilots to achieve excellence in their roles while upholding safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee the schedules and shifts of a team of pilots.
  • Ensure compliance with aviation regulations, including safety and operational requirements.
  • Provide training and support to pilots, including mentoring and coaching.
  • Collaborate with maintenance, operations, and customer service departments.
  • Monitor and report on pilot performance concerning safety incidents and operational efficacy.
  • Handle emergency situations swiftly and effectively to ensure safety.
  • Ensure all flights depart and arrive on schedule.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback.
  • Coordinate with air traffic control for smooth operations.
  • Implement standard operating procedures for flight operations.

Requirements

Education
  • Pilot's license
  • Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management or related field
Experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in commercial aviation with supervisory experience preferred
