Dragline Operator

Job Description

Join our dedicated team as a Dragline Operator, where you will manage the operation of dragline machinery to ensure efficient excavation and material handling in our surface mining projects. Safety and productivity will be at the forefront of your responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate dragline machinery for material extraction in surface mining.
• Conduct routine checks and maintenance to uphold safety standards.
• Assess production levels, and make adjustments to improve efficiency.
• Work alongside project teams to ensure tasks are completed on schedule.
• Document and track maintenance and operational records.
• Identify and mitigate potential safety hazards in the work area.
• Participate in safety meetings and training sessions.
• Help to mentor less experienced operators on safety protocols and machine operation.
• Actively maintain a clean work environment in compliance with health and safety standards.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience in heavy machinery operation.

• Mechanical Aptitude

Certifications

• Excavator Operator Certification
• Heavy Equipment Operator Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
