Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Equipment Maintenance Superintendent to lead our maintenance team by overseeing the repair and upkeep of our crucial equipment fleet. The perfect candidate will be adept at implementing preventive maintenance strategies to ensure optimal equipment performance and reliability.

Responsibilities

  • Lead maintenance technicians in executing scheduled maintenance tasks and emergency repairs.
  • Utilise Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track and report on maintenance activities.
  • Assess and improve maintenance processes and workflows for operational excellence.
  • Setup and maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and parts.
  • Develop training resources and conduct training sessions for the maintenance team.
  • Work with safety officers to implement and monitor workplace safety practices.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports for senior management regarding maintenance performance metrics and budgets.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration between maintenance and other departments to boost overall efficiency.

Requirements

Education
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a comparable field
  • Advanced certifications in equipment maintenance (e.g., CMRP, SMRP) will be highly regarded
Experience
  • 5+ years of supervisory experience in a similar equipment maintenance role.
