Job Description

As an IT Network Planner, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing network solutions that enhance operational efficiency. You will collaborate with IT teams to ensure network stability and security while providing strategic insights into infrastructure improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Assess business networking needs and design appropriate solutions.
  • Optimize network resources for improved performance and scalability.
  • Oversee the implementation of IT network projects from initiation to completion.
  • Ensure network documentation is current and accessible.
  • Engage in troubleshooting and resolution of complex network problems.
  • Work with the IT support team to integrate new services into existing infrastructure.
  • Evaluate network applications and recommend necessary upgrades.
  • Participate in the development of network policies and procedures.
  • Engage in vendor management and contract negotiations for network services.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field
  • Higher-level networking qualifications are a plus
Experience
  • 4+ years of experience in network support or engineering
