Job Description

As a Forging Machine Setter, Operator, and Tender, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining heat detection equipment. Your expertise will ensure smooth operation and resolution of heat-related issues in manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and calibrate heat detection machinery to ensure accuracy.
  • Document observations and findings during daily operations.
  • Assist in troubleshooting equipment malfunctions and implementing fixes.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance and repairs as needed.
  • Collect and analyse data to improve operational processes.
  • Participate in departmental meetings to discuss safety and operational efficiency.
  • Support training initiatives for new staff members.
  • Maintain an organized workspace, prioritizing safety protocols.
  • Ensure machine compliance with environmental safety standards.
  • Assist in the development of operational procedures.

Requirements

Education
  • Relevant vocational training or certification in heat detection or engineering
  • Basic understanding of engineering principles
Experience
  • Minimum 2 years of experience operating heat detection equipment and analysing heat patterns.
