Job Description

Join our team as a Mortgage Accounting Clerk, where you will assist in managing mortgage payments, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and contributing to our finance team. This role requires a proactive mindset and effective communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Support the accounting team in processing and recording mortgage transactions.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines.
  • Assist in auditing processes as required.
  • Provide insights for financial reporting and budgeting.
  • Participate in training sessions to enhance accounting practices within the department.
  • Review and update accounting procedures to enhance efficiency.
  • Provide support during month-end closing processes.

Requirements

Education
  • AAT qualification or equivalent
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline preferred
Experience
  • At least 2 years’ experience in mortgage finance or accounting roles.
Technical Skills
  • Accounting software proficiency

Languages
  • English: Fluent
