Network Engineer

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a skilled Network Engineer to join our Glasgow team. As a vital part of our engineering department, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing our network infrastructure while ensuring seamless connectivity across our global operations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure seamless connectivity across multiple sites and cloud environments.
• Implement network changes and upgrades with minimal downtime.
• Conduct regular network assessments and health checks.
• Develop strategies to improve network performance and security.
• Assist in disaster recovery planning related to network systems.
• Train junior network staff and provide guidance.
• Participate in incident response and post-incident reviews.
• Create and maintain network topology maps.
• Coordinate and manage the installation of network hardware.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Network Engineering, IT, or similar area
• Certifications in network technologies (e.g., CCNP) are a plus.

Experience

• 5+ years in a network engineering capacity preferred.
