Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Signaler to join our team. As a Signaler, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of trains on our railway network.

Responsibilities

  • Control signaling systems to manage train schedules effectively.
  • Maintain consistent communication with other railway personnel.
  • Follow all safety regulations to ensure smooth operation.
  • Regularly inspect and maintain signaling equipment to prevent malfunctions.
  • Respond quickly to signal failures or emergencies to maintain safety.
  • Document all signal activities and train movements meticulously.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to optimise schedules.
  • Implement improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Train junior staff on procedures and best practices.
  • Participate in safety drills and training sessions as needed.

Requirements

Education
  • Valid Signaller License
  • Secondary school education or equivalent
Experience
  • Prior experience working as a Signaler or in a similar role within the railway industry.
