We are seeking a skilled and experienced Signaler to join our team. As a Signaler, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of trains on our railway network.
Responsibilities
Control signaling systems to manage train schedules effectively.
Maintain consistent communication with other railway personnel.
Follow all safety regulations to ensure smooth operation.
Regularly inspect and maintain signaling equipment to prevent malfunctions.
Respond quickly to signal failures or emergencies to maintain safety.
Document all signal activities and train movements meticulously.
Work collaboratively with team members to optimise schedules.
Implement improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
Train junior staff on procedures and best practices.
Participate in safety drills and training sessions as needed.
Requirements
Education
Valid Signaller License
Secondary school education or equivalent
Experience
Prior experience working as a Signaler or in a similar role within the railway industry.
