Job Description

Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Nurse Midwife. You will provide holistic care to expectant mothers, ensuring a smooth transition through pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum stages. Your expertise will be pivotal in promoting maternal and newborn health.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care to pregnant women.
  • Conduct routine examinations, screenings, and assessments to monitor health during pregnancy.
  • Assist in the delivery of babies and provide immediate postpartum care.
  • Support new mothers on breastfeeding, infant care, and recovery.
  • Manage health of high-risk pregnancies in collaboration with medical professionals.
  • Administer medications and provide emotional support to patients and families.
  • Maintain detailed medical records of patient care.
  • Participate in educational programs to stay abreast of midwifery advancements.

Requirements

Education
  • Registered Nurse qualification with the NMC.
  • Bachelor's degree in Midwifery is preferred.
Experience
  • Experience in managing normal and complicated pregnancies.
