Job Description

As a Pot Builder, you will be responsible for designing, crafting, and maintaining high-quality clay and ceramic pots that cater to various industries. The ideal candidate should possess creative flair and strong technical skills, ensuring every piece is structurally sound and aesthetically pleasing.

Responsibilities

• Create innovative pottery designs that push the boundaries of craftsmanship.
• Utilise a variety of techniques, including hand-building, sculpting, and glazing.
• Work collaboratively with design and production teams to achieve high-quality results.
• Train and mentor junior pottery staff to enhance team skills and productivity.
• Participate in workshops and continuous learning sessions to improve skills.
• Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations within the workplace.
• Report any equipment malfunctions promptly for repairs.
• Assist in managing inventory of raw materials used in pottery production.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Vocational training in ceramics is advantageous.

Experience

• At least two years of experience in ceramics manufacturing roles preferred.
