Job Description

The Medical Scheduler will be responsible for coordinating appointments and schedules for medical professionals and patients. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and communication skills, with a focus on customer service and patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule and confirm appointments, ensuring effective time management.
  • Track and follow up on patient referrals and bookings.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection regulations when handling patient information.
  • Facilitate communication between patients and clinicians to improve care quality.
  • Provide administrative support to the front desk and other departments as necessary.
  • Develop and maintain a scheduling database for optimal performance.
  • Implement best practices in scheduling operations to enhance service delivery.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Additional qualifications in medical administration or office management are preferred
Experience
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a medical scheduling or similar administrative role
Technical Skills
  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems

Languages
