Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Veterinary Surgeon to join our compassionate team at Exeter Pet Hospital. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care and be dedicated to providing high-quality veterinary service to our furry patients.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient histories and perform clinical examinations.
• Carry out surgeries, ensuring proper techniques and sterile conditions.
• Manage medical records and documentation for all animals treated.
• Advise pet owners on healthcare best practices.
• Participate in the development of strategic care plans for chronic cases.
• Work collaboratively with other veterinarians in the practice.
• Assist in training and supervision of veterinary students and interns.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine (BVetMed) or equivalent
• Further qualifications such as a diploma in veterinary surgery are advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years of clinical experience preferred
