Data Engineer

Job Description

We are on the hunt for a Data Engineer to elevate our data management practices. As part of our Glasgow office, you will work with cross-functional teams to ensure our data infrastructure is robust and scalable, supporting our growing analytics needs and enhancing overall business strategies.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain robust data warehouses and lakes for reporting and analytics.
• Work with cloud-based data platforms and leverage advanced data storage techniques.
• Develop and deploy models to automate data transformation and cleansing.
• Participate in data governance initiatives to maintain compliance and security.
• Train and mentor junior data engineers on best practices and technologies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a similar field
• Master's degree in a related field is preferred

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in data engineering or similar roles
