Job Description

As an Etcher and Engraver at Precision Craftworks, you'll play a crucial role in producing detailed designs on various materials. The position requires a keen eye for detail, precision in handling tools, and a strong understanding of engraving techniques.

Responsibilities

• Set up and configure engraving machines for production runs.
• Monitor machinery for functionality and make adjustments as needed.
• Perform routine maintenance on engraving tools and equipment.
• Work with designers to adapt and execute designs accurately.
• Assist in training junior staff on proper engraving techniques.
• Implement safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Further qualifications in manufacturing/process engineering is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in etching or a related field

Technical Skills

• Laser engraving
• CNC machining

Soft Skills

• Communication
• Time management

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of quality control procedures: Understanding of procedures to ensure products meet quality standards.
• Experience in working with different materials: Familiarity with engraving and etching on various substrates.
