Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Metal Sander to join our team. The successful candidate will prepare metal surfaces for finishing by using a variety of sanding techniques. This role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work with different types of metals.

Responsibilities

• Utilise hand and power tools for effective sanding and polishing.
• Conduct regular inspections of sanded items to ensure conformity with quality standards.
• Accurately follow work instructions and specifications.
• Effectively communicate with team members regarding progress and challenges.
• Assist in maintaining a safe and tidy workspace.
• Participate in training sessions on new equipment and techniques.

Requirements

Experience

• Prior experience in metal sanding or a similar role is preferred, on-the-job training provided for suitable candidates.
