Job Description

As a Marine Environment Officer, you will be responsible for monitoring marine ecosystems, ensuring compliance with environmental standards, and promoting sustainable marine practices. You will collaborate with governmental and non-governmental organizations to assess the health of marine environments and develop strategies for conservation.

Responsibilities

  • Implement conservation programs and initiatives.
  • Lead field studies to gather data on marine life.
  • Advocate for best practices in marine resource management.
  • Conduct training sessions for staff and partners.
  • Collaborate with scientists and researchers on marine studies.
  • Manage budgets and resources for marine projects.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or Marine Conservation
  • Master's degree in relevant field is an asset

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in marine or environmental roles
