Job Description

We are on the lookout for a dedicated Welder Assistant to support our skilled Welders in our manufacturing plant. This role involves preparing materials, maintaining equipment, and adhering to safety protocols while working on various welding projects.

Responsibilities

  • Help experienced Welders during fabrication and assembly processes.
  • Follow instructions for material preparation and welding setups.
  • Keep an eye on the quality of work and report any discrepancies.
  • Assist in troubleshooting welding equipment issues.
  • Maintain logs of welding supplies and materials used.
  • Support a culture of safety and teamwork within the workshop.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.

Requirements

Education
  • Relevant vocational training or apprenticeship preferred
Experience
  • 1+ years of experience in welding or metalworking
