Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Teaching Assistant to join our Birmingham team. This role involves supporting teachers and engaging with students to enhance their learning experience. The ideal candidate will have a genuine enthusiasm for education and a commitment to student success.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development of educational resources.
  • Implement instructional activities under the guidance of the teacher.
  • Foster an inclusive environment for all students regardless of ability.
  • Assist students with homework and project work.
  • Help in the implementation of behaviour management strategies.
  • Support the emotional and social development of students.
  • Provide input on students' learning and behaviour to the teaching staff.

Requirements

Education
  • A-Level or equivalent qualifications
  • Degree in Education or related discipline preferred
Experience
  • Experience in special needs education is advantageous
