Handkerchief Presser

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Handkerchief Presser to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for pressing, folding, and packing handkerchiefs for our customers. This is a full-time position based in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Adjust machine settings for different fabric types.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on pressing equipment.
• Document production data and quality checks.
• Communicate effectively with team members regarding production status.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss production improvements.

Requirements

Education

• Training in textile manufacturing or relevant experience preferred

Experience

• At least 1 year of experience in operating handkerchief press machines or similar textile machines.

Technical Skills

• Fabric knowledge

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in textile manufacturing: Prior experience in a manufacturing setting, especially in textiles, is a plus.
• Ability to operate other textile production machinery: Experience operating additional textile machines can be advantageous.
