We are seeking a detail-oriented Building Compliance Inspector to join our team in Salisbury. The ideal candidate will evaluate construction projects to ensure they meet required regulations and safety standards. You will play a critical role in safeguarding the integrity of buildings and the safety of their occupants.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate technical documentation related to building designs and safety measures.
• Conduct follow-up inspections to verify compliance improvements.
• Serve as a liaison between stakeholders and regulatory authorities.
• Contribute to compliance audits and enforcement actions.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Membership with the Institute of Building is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in building compliance or inspection roles

• IOSH Managing Safely

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of Sustainable Building Practices: Experience and knowledge in sustainable construction techniques.
