Job Description

As a Risk Assessment Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in identifying, analysing, and mitigating potential risks faced by our clients. You will utilise actuarial science and quantitative methods to develop risk models that guide decision-making. Your expertise will aid in the design of risk mitigation strategies and in compliance with industry regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement risk assessment frameworks.
  • Conduct stress tests and scenario analysis to evaluate exposures.
  • Advise on the effectiveness of risk controls and risk appetite.
  • Review and validate risk assessment models.
  • Provide expert advice on emerging risk issues.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation for audit purposes.
  • Support the development of risk management policies.
  • Engage with external stakeholders including regulators and clients.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of risk assessment processes.
  • Actively participate in cross-functional risk assessment meetings.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science or a related discipline
  • Relevant postgraduate qualifications are advantageous
Experience
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in risk management or actuarial consulting
