Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team in Birmingham. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing the manufacturing of mechanical systems and components. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects meet specifications and are delivered on time.

Responsibilities

• Utilise CAD software for designing mechanical components and systems.
• Perform stress analysis and simulations to verify design durability.
• Collaborate on product design reviews to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Manage and mentor junior engineers within the mechanical team.
• Research and implement new technologies to enhance product designs.
• Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations in all engineering activities.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in mechanical engineering

• Lean Manufacturing Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
