Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Hot Metal Charger to join our team. The Hot Metal Charger will be responsible for safely charging molten metal into molds or ladles, ensuring proper handling procedures are followed, and maintaining a clean and efficient work area.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper handling and storage of hazardous materials.
• Assist with inspections and operational checks of machinery.
• Follow all health and safety regulations and protocols.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Prior experience in the steel or metal fabrication industry is preferred.

Certifications

• Forklift Operator Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience operating ladle and furnace equipment: Hands-on experience with equipment used in metal refining.
