Job Description

As an Environmental Policy Consultant in Leicester, you'll work at the intersection of law and environmental protection. Your duties will include drafting policy documents, conducting impact assessments, and representing clients in discussions about sustainable practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert analysis on environmental laws and policies.
• Engage in public consultations and represent the firm at policy forums.
• Draft and submit applications for environmental permits.
• Conduct impact assessments for proposed projects.
• Develop strategies to enhance sustainability in client operations.
• Support the development of communications materials related to policy initiatives.
• Assist in the preparation of grant proposals for environmental projects.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Policy, or related field
• Master's degree preferred

• 3+ years of experience in environmental policy or consulting
