Job Description

We are seeking an IT Support Technician to join our Newcastle team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background and excellent problem-solving skills, ensuring optimal functionality of our IT systems and support for our users.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver end-user support to ensure effective daily operations.
  • Maintain user accounts, permissions, and access rights.
  • Assist with IT-related projects and initiatives.
  • Document all service requests and resolutions in the ticketing system.
  • Proactively assess and recommend hardware and software solutions.
  • Coordinate with external vendors for repairs and service upgrades.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field
  • Relevant IT certifications are an advantage
Experience
  • 2+ years’ experience in a technical support role
