Job Description

We are seeking an Audio Visual Engineer to join our passionate team in Kilmarnock. The role involves setting up, operating, and maintaining audio and visual equipment in various performing arts environments. Ideal candidates will have a knack for troubleshooting technology and a keen interest in music and performances.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all A/V setups are ready before events and troubleshoot any issues that arise during performances.
  • Work closely with artists to understand their technical requirements.
  • Help in the installation and dismantling of equipment post-event.
  • Document technical processes and maintain equipment logs.
  • Stay updated with the latest A/V technology trends and tools.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Sound Technology or related field
  • Relevant certifications in A/V technologies are preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in AV roles within performance environments
