Responsibilities

  • Examine animals to assess their health and diagnose problems.
  • Carry out surgical procedures on varying cases.
  • Implement preventive care, including vaccinations and health checks.
  • Consult with pet owners and provide treatment recommendations.
  • Ensure compliance with all health regulations and standards.
  • Train and supervise junior staff and interns.
  • Develop protocols for infection control and ergonomics.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor of Veterinary Science
  • Further qualifications in Veterinary Medicine are desirable.
Experience
  • Preferred experience in a busy veterinary practice.
