Job Description

Join our team as a Game Tester! You will play a pivotal role in the quality assurance process by testing our games across various platforms. Your insights will help shape our game development pipeline and ensure an exceptional player experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough testing of games across multiple stages of development.
• Identify, document, and track defects using bug-tracking systems.
• Work closely with the development team to develop solutions for identified issues.
• Assist in the development of automated testing scripts where applicable.
• Engage in playtesting sessions to gauge user engagement and enjoyment.
• Provide detailed reports on testing outcomes and suggestions for enhancements.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Game Design, Computer Science or related field
• Experience in gaming is a plus

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in game testing or quality assurance

Technical Skills

• Bug tracking systems (e.g. JIRA)
• Test case creation

Soft Skills

• Attention to detail
• Teamwork

Certifications

• ISTQB Certified Tester

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with game engines (e.g. Unity, Unreal Engine): Experience working with popular game engines to facilitate effective testing.
• Ability to write scripts for automated testing: Knowledge of programming languages that assist in automating game testing processes.
