Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Audio Production Assistant to support our production team in Kilmarnock. The ideal candidate will assist in audio recording, editing, and mixing for a variety of projects within the music and performing arts sectors.

Responsibilities

  • Liaise with artists to capture their audio vision accurately.
  • Document technical processes and troubleshooting methods.
  • Stay proactive in suggesting improvements for audio workflows.
  • Support training initiatives for new team members on audio systems.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Music or related field
  • Vocational training in audio technologies is a plus
Experience
  • Experience in live sound engineering is a plus
Technical Skills
  • Familiarity with digital audio mixing consoles
  • Basic understanding of MIDI protocols
Soft Skills
  • Adaptability

Certifications
  • Audio Engineer Certification
Languages
  • English: Fluent

Advantageous

  • Experience with audio post-production: Experience in editing and mixing audio for recordings and films.
