Job Description

We are in search of a passionate Civil Rights Attorney to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will advocate for individuals' rights, handle cases related to discrimination, social justice, and civil liberties. Your expertise will play a crucial role in ensuring justice for those whose rights have been infringed upon.

Responsibilities

  • Advocate passionately for clients' civil rights in various legal contexts.
  • Prepare and present compelling arguments in court to support clients' positions.
  • Establish a strong network of support with civil rights organisations and advocacy groups.
  • Conduct thorough legal research to inform case handling and strategy.
  • Monitor developments in civil rights laws and participate in relevant training.
  • Draft newsletters and write articles to publish updates on civil rights issues.
  • Utilise social media to advocate for civil rights and promote the firm’s activities.

Requirements

Education
  • Qualified solicitor or barrister in England and Wales
  • Postgraduate qualification in Law or related field is preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in civil rights law with a proven track record
