Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cut-Off Saw Set-Up Operator to join our team in Birmingham. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in operating and setting up cut-off saws, ensuring quality and efficiency in our manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Operate and set up cut-off saws according to job specifications.
• Inspect finished products for quality assurance and compliance with specifications.
• Adjust machine settings and troubleshoot any issues affecting performance.
• Document production activities and report on output and efficiency.
• Maintain safety and housekeeping standards in the working area.
• Assist in training new operators on machine setup and operation.
• Identify and report any unsafe working conditions or equipment.
• Work collaboratively with the production team to achieve objectives.
• Implement improvements to enhance output and quality.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical certification in machining is a plus

Experience

• At least 2 years' hands-on experience as a cut-off saw operator.

Technical Skills

• CNC programming
• Measurement tools

Languages

• English: Fluent
