Job Description

As an Environmental Risk Consultant, you will play a crucial role in assessing environmental impacts and developing strategies to mitigate risks associated with projects. This role requires a blend of scientific knowledge and practical application to ensure compliance with legislation and promote sustainable practices.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field surveys and gather data for environmental assessments.
• Evaluate compliance with environmental regulations and standards.
• Assist in the development of sustainability initiatives within client organisations.
• Collaborate with specialists to address complex environmental issues.
• Prepare presentations to communicate findings and recommendations effectively.
• Engage with community stakeholders regarding environmental concerns.
• Assist in the management of environmental audits and inspections.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field
• Postgraduate qualifications in Environmental Risk Management are an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in environmental consulting or related field

• GIS Software

Certifications

• Certified Environmental Professional (CEP)
• NEBOSH Environmental Certificate
