Cybersecurity Analyst

Job Description

We are seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst in Leeds to defend our data from cyber threats. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of security protocols and experience in threat analysis. You will work closely with IT teams to implement security measures and monitor systems for vulnerabilities.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and enhance current security protocols and measures.
• Engage in continuous learning to stay ahead of cybersecurity threats.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security within the organisation.
• Review and update security documentation regularly.
• Assist in the development of disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
• Perform regular checks and audits on security systems.
• Engage in knowledge sharing and continuous improvement of security practices.
• Prepare reports and presentations on security incidents and trends for senior management.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years in cybersecurity or IT security roles
