Cybersecurity Forensics Analyst

Job Description

As a Cybersecurity Forensics Analyst located in Leeds, you will be tasked with investigating cyber incidents and providing detailed forensic analysis. Your work will directly contribute to enhancing our cybersecurity posture and mitigating future risks.

Responsibilities

• Analyse and correlate security logs to identify potential incidents.
• Respond to security breaches in a timely manner.
• Prepare forensic images and document all investigative actions.
• Work closely with law enforcement when necessary.
• Review and enhance incident response strategies regularly.
• Participate in cybersecurity risk assessments.
• Support security awareness training for staff.
• Document and communicate lessons learned from each incident.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related discipline
• Relevant Master's degree is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in forensic analysis

Technical Skills

• Malware Analysis
• Network Security

Certifications

• GIAC Certified Forensic Analyst (GCFA)
• CompTIA Security+

Languages

• English: Fluent
