Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic IT Support Technician to join our team in Glasgow. In this role, you will provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and ensure the smooth operation of IT systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT support and be passionate about helping others resolve their technology problems.

Responsibilities

• Handle all incoming support requests via ticketing system.
• Resolve escalated issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Perform network troubleshooting to isolate and fix issues.
• Assist in the setup and configuration of server environments.
• Contribute to the development of IT policy and procedures.
• Provide technical assistance for IT projects.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
• Ensure documentation is kept up to date.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or relevant field
• Certifications such as CompTIA Network+ are advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in an IT support role
